seriously.

so, I came home to this after visiting my sister for the weekend. Thank you so much Ike.

Could have been worse. A foot or two closer, and I would have to sleep in that tree.

So, I'm having a chainsaw party to be followed by a bondfire and Hurricane mixed drinks (after the chainsaws are put away of course).

Ohmygod I wanna go to a bigass bonfire with booze.

I should see if anyone I know has a bonfire-safe backyard and plan to do that in the near future. I went to one... either last year or the year before and it was pretty fun. A little too cold, but fun.

Well, swing by east Texas if you need some wood. Seriously, I don't know what the fuck to do with it all.

It's cool that you're turning it into something fun, so I hope you have a great time at the bonfire.

God I remember back in 2004 when we got slammed by 3 hurricanes. There were trees, roofs, doors and limbs piled up on the side of every road I drove down. It took 3 months before everything seemed to go back to normal.

That's pretty much the scene around here. And to think, we didn't really get hit that hard with it. I can't even begin to imagine what places like Houston and San Padre are like.
