In the conclusion to last season's cliffhanger finale, a re-coiffed Tommy and Lori are led to a shady conman named Fong in order to free Merton from Medusa's spell. The cure works, but there is just one drawback: it's also a deadly poison! Oops. The only way for Tommy to get the antidote and save Merton is to battle Fong's depth-perceptionially-challenged champion in a pit fight to the death... Average rating: 8.03 / 10 (of 30 ratings)
Merton seems to have stumbled upon the perfect girl -- well-versed in all things Goth, an avid listener to his radio show, cute as a button, and...a vampire. Though he generally considers bloodsucking to be a turn-off, this breed of the walking undead doesn't feast on humans. Even if Merton's not on the menu himself, Cassandra's choice of food puts him between a fang and a hard place. Average rating: 9.37 / 10 (of 43 ratings)
A botched order from the black market leaves Merton with a seemingly useless antique bottle. Becky rubs it the right way, and lo and behold, out pops the opportunity to finally have Tommy notice her. There's a catch, of course, and if her big brother and his pals don't come to the rescue in time, Becky will be spending the next few hundred years in pretty cramped accommodations. Average rating: 7.03 / 10 (of 33 ratings)
Not content to let Tommy and Lori hog all the superheroics, Merton assembles the Defenders of Decency, with the electrifying Storm Front as its featured member. Stormy's more interested in publicity than justice, and what better way to grab the press' attention than to slay the Pleasantville Werewolf? Average rating: 7.21 / 10 (of 35 ratings)
Santa Claus' evil brother, Roger the Anti-Claus, attempts to twist Pleasantville's beloved holiday into a festival of frights. A desperate Jolly St. Nick turns to Merton, Tommy, and a decidedly tone-deaf Lori to save Christmas. Average rating: 8.26 / 10 (of 24 ratings)
Hillary Choate, Merton's arch-nemesis and childhood crush, has her eye on the office of class president and even seems willing to give her soul to the demonic Mr. McGovern. In a bid to keep the Gothic Fantasy Guild free of Hillary's tyranny, Merton convinces the infinitely more popular Tommy to run against her in this ode to Alexander Payne's dark comedy Election. Alternately titled Demonocracy In America. Average rating: 7.83 / 10 (of 18 ratings)

Merton frees and subsequently dates a domineering witch from the 1700's named Hyacinthe Thistlethorpe. It's soon discovered that Hyacinthe doesn't gracefully cope with rejection, and after Merton breaks up with her, she casts a spell on her former suitor and adds Lori-kabobs to the menu. Average rating: 8.58 / 10 (of 31 ratings)
Hiding behind the mask of the seemingly-harmless boy band Boylicious, a group of aliens trot into Pleasantville, hunting for females to transport to their homeworld. Becky sneaks out from Merton's authoritarian rule to give 'em a backstage visit, not quite expecting to be spat out of a tube thousands of light years... Average rating: 7.85 / 10 (of 22 ratings)
Merton's favorite role-playing game has a direct influence on another dimension, whose inhabitants turn to him to slay the mighty Shederak. Finding his skills as Lord Thunarr woefully inadequate, Merton turns to Tommy for some lycanthropy-fueled assistance, though his buddy's not quite as interested in duking it out as he once was. Average rating: 8.63 / 10 (of 17 ratings)
Merton falls for a Japanese girl that has recently begun frequenting the Factory, and despite her claims that they are too different, Merton manages to steal a kiss. This sets into motion a rather nasty chain of events, and a notoriously jealous thousand year old samurai prince vows to destroy Merton. Usually he'd turn to Tommy for help, but he's too busy pulling community service at the Hungry Bucket. Average rating: 9.16 / 10 (of 21 ratings)
Tommy's wish that he were never bitten has finally been granted. Unfortunately, someone else has taken his place both as starting quarterback on the football team and as the Pleasantville Werewolf. This new wolf in...wolf's clothing isn't quite as upstanding, and Tommy doesn't have any powers or the memories of his former teammates at his disposal to fight back. Average rating: 9.34 / 10 (of 29 ratings)
After a smattering of disappointments with terrestrial women, Merton has expanded his quest for romance to the stars above. His interplanetary personal ad almost immediately receives a reply, and with a tap on the forehead, Merton finds himself impregnated by his alien respondent. Dire complications are to ensue, much to the chagrin of Lori, who's constantly finding herself torn away from interviews with the dean of her favorite college. Average rating: 7.75 / 10 (of 24 ratings)
Merton's bitten while performing some dental work on a wolfed out Tommy. The idea of becoming a werewolf is just a tad too strong to resist, and despite Tommy and Lori pushing him to consume some wolfsbane before the next full moon, Merton tricks them and lets the transformation continue. He's unable to fully resist the evil impulses that come attached with lycanthropy, and Merton's ill-timed conversion happens to coincide with the arrival of a monster hunter that's recently trotted into town. Average rating: 8.57 / 10 (of 25 ratings)
The Mertonator -- a cyborg propelled to the past with a killer agenda -- has his sights set on terminating Tommy Dawkins and filling up a couple of pages in the Pleasantville High Stud Calendar. In true James-Cameron-homage fashion, though, Tommy has a guardian of his own. Average rating: 8.67 / 10 (of 18 ratings)
A werewolf princess travels all the way from Lycanthea to bid on a date with Tommy at a Pleasantville High bachelor auction. Tommy isn't quite ready to leave Pleasantville behind, though, much to the dismay of Tristan's overprotective and rather regal father. Merton, meanwhile, finds himself both repulsed and intrigued by Tristan's "special" handmaiden. Average rating: 8.73 / 10 (of 17 ratings)
While Merton aggressively pushes his theatrical masterpieces for a stage show, the disfigured Phantom of the Factory sets his eyes on Lori, who eerily resembles his long lost love. Average rating: 9.10 / 10 (of 31 ratings)

Corey Feldman comes to town, interested in producing a script of Merton's and looking up an old pal -- the vampiric Corey Haim. Tommy, being the gentleman that he is, gives Merton a shot at asking Sloane out to the prom. Unbeknownst to the lads, Sloane is a supernatural assassin with the kiss of death. With Merton keeled over, Sloane turns her sights towards Tommy, and her employer's thirst for revenge (gasp!) threatens both graduation day and the world at large. Average rating: 9.71 / 10 (of 25 ratings)
